STICKS collects only what we need to make the app work: your email so you can sign in, your live GPS so we can show distances on the course, and your round scores so you can see your history and handicap. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
STICKS is a golf scoring and GPS app operated by Maximus K. Austria ("we," "us," "STICKS"). This policy explains what data the STICKS app and website collect, why, and your choices.
Every data type listed above is collected for one purpose: App Functionality. That means making STICKS work — authenticating you, showing distances, saving scores, processing payments. We do not collect any data for analytics, advertising, personalization, or any other purpose.
We share data only with the service providers we need to operate the app:

STICKS does not track you across other apps or websites for advertising. We do not use third-party ad networks, analytics SDKs, or cross-app identifiers. Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt is not triggered by STICKS.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing maximus.k.austria@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records relating to subscription payments).

STICKS is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS for all data in transit, encrypted storage at our hosting providers (Supabase, Vercel), and OAuth 2.0 for third-party sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data with reasonable safeguards.
STICKS is operated from the United States. By using the app, you consent to your data being processed in the U.S., which may have data protection laws different from your country.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated in the app or via email.
